How long have you been keeping freshwater fish?

about 15 years, with a long learning curve,
 
I started with my first tank at age 8, and went on a hiatus until age 15..now im 20 =] and still keeping the same old fish since age 15 =] .
 
I got my first goldfish in high school, so 18 or 19 years. My first betta was about 9 years ago. I set up 55 gallon tropical freshwater tank 2 years ago after overstocking a ten gallon tank. I also have had turtles for several years.
 
Around 25 years with a few times when my husband was the primary fish caretaker. Plus a couple year break after we had to move twice in 2001.(too much, too sad, had to rehome my clown loaches)
 
I always keep on improving my care level... So I guess I really started to improve my level of care two years ago.:grinyes: I seems fish and cats are the only pets I keep well.
 
About 4 years. :)
