I was wondering how many angle fish I should pick up tomorrow? I have a 55 gallon corner tank that is tall, 24". In the tank I have 1 pleco, 3 platys, 3 guppies and a few snails. I have lots of plants that go from the bottom to the top on the sides and in the back corner, so the front area is free space. I was thinking 4, 3 females and a male? But I know very little about angles and I can't find a good site online. If anyone can point me to a good angle fish site that would be great also.

i dont know a site, but that stock sounds fine to me.

I see you are from Nashville. I have gotten all my Angels from The Aquatic Critter in Nashville and they also have a web site. My Angels are all doing great. I have had them for about a year. They are even spawning. The prices are great. Hope this has helped.
They also have a great supply of saltwater and freshwater fish.

That's where I'm goign tomorrow! The family and I went there a few weeks ago, I was thrilled to find a nice store with beautiful tanks.

Good luck. Let us know how many you end up with. I have a hard time everytime I go. I want to buy all the angels! We're heading down there Saturday evening. I love that place. I'm looking for some Blue Rams this time.

I would stick with a breeding pair. This is JMO, but 4 angels seems a little cramped in a corner tank thats 2' tall. Not much room to manouver in there.

I agree...I go in there every chance I get even if it is just to look around :)
