how many goldfish can i keep in my tank?

the frogbit i got from bonniesplants.com
and the water lettuce i got from ebay. 24 big water lettuces were like only 12 bux plus shipping

8 in a 125g i think thats about it. i plan on only 8-10 in my 220g
