how many is to many?

I'm getting tanked.

I've got 3 now. Setup another 25g for my livebearers that I removed from my 66g last weekend. I'd like a 120g with an Amazon theme for my ghost knife and royal pleco and some Anglefish and cardinals. So 4 tanks might be enough, but my lease says 'no pets' and the landlord closes his eyes when he comes in to fix anything. Do you think he'll notice another?

my lanlords eyes bulged when he saw my first tank the 29 in the computer room but now he wants advice on setting one up ...hehe so hopefully he has gotten over the thoughts of all that water in the carpet!

I dont there is such a thing as "too many tanks", that is just not possible.
I personally only have two tanks atm, but could have a few more bigger ones set up by the end of summer =

Too many only comes when you have neither the time nor money to properly take care of the tanks.

I currently have 2 tanks 1 20L with tetras, barbs and corys and a 2.5 gallon with one dwarf puffer. Both are densely planted with live plants. Any more would be too much for me.

I currently have 3, and this is the most I've ever had running at one time in my life. It's enough for me! I SAY that I'd LIKE to have just ONE MORE tank in our bedroom, but I don't have the time to care for it right now. I also have 2 young kids and watch 3 more during the week, so I just can't take another tank right now....

But someday....

If i had one HUGe tank instead of 3 smaller ones, i'd be much happier. But becoz of parents and cost of one big tank, i hav to run 3 smaller ones. Plus, it lets me run 3 different aquascapes, meaning different categories of fish. If i had that huge tank, it'd be a catfish display tank...
