How many tiger barbs and cory cats can I fit in a 30 gallon at the most?

I'm getting a 30 gallon and want cories and barbs. How many barbs and how many cories can I fit in there?
 
Tigers...? Species only. No cories. 8-10
 
I have 12 tigers in a 30g, and I agree that is about as stocked as the tank can be. It is a bit overstocked, but I'd originally planned on putting them in a 38. They are happy there, so I'm not moving them. So 9-12 tigers should work in a 30 alone.
 
gurrrrrrr...... i want tiger barbs! and cories... do you think I should have a species only cory tank then? i luv cories more. how many cories could i put in?
 
Okay, make it only cory cats then!!! How many cory cats alone should I be able to fit in a thirty gallon?

The ones that stay between 2-2 1/2 in.

The filter should be good too. I told my mom to buy a bio-wheel....

Yeah, I like the little cories... the biggest one I have right now is about

---------------------- that long... her name is doug. (don't ask)

i had to include that comment. i will be putting doug in that tank too. she's in a 10 gal. right now...

Hope this helps...

I've got a 46G bow front tank with 8 cories, 7 different barbs, 2 tetras and 2 plecos at around 4" each. The cories are still small, around 1" to 1-1/2". They all seem to get along, the cories keep to themselves and the barbs play with each other. :cool2:
 
Corys and Tiger barbs Will work together, I have 6 in my 50 with 4 corys. They dont even pay attention to each other. adviseabl to get at least 6 tiger barbs so the agresion stays in the group. Just my opinion and experiance.
