How to deal with a backstabber at work?

WOW WELL PUT!!!!!!!!!

Hi, at this place I work at, I am getting into a lot of trouble because there is this woman who always tell the supervisor on me..Like, every move I make it is wrong to her, the way I approach things, the way I act..:help: What should I do? I might lose my job because of here..:help:

keep a paper trail of every incident

If you are fired, go straight to a lawyer. This is called harassment and you will win a tidy sum of money. So let 'em come!

You should get one of those voice recorders. They are like $40 for a good one, get one where you can download all the audio to your PC. If you get in trouble for things the girl said you did, play the audio from all the incidents to her superior.

Things are not looking too good...I also found out there is a host of other people backstabbing than I orginal thought..My lazy assistants who take unscheduled breaks and who dont do their job turned me in and gave out misinformation about me..I told the director is was not true and I guess I was there to defend myself while being backstabbed

The director confronted me about it..Anyway, there is a host of other backstabbers at my workplace..The bad thing is some are spreading misinformation..I really dont mind if I get backstabbed for things that should be brought to the attention of the director but spreading lies is another thing..

I guess life is too short for this and I know that there are backstabbers in other work places..Every workplace has them..As a matter of fact, I lost my last job because of a backstabber...

I work as a nurse which mainly consist of women..There is a saying that women are catty and that is how they are..So all they do is just backstab people at work..Men tend not to for some reason..This is just what a lot of people are saying..

women like that give women like us a bad name

There are alot of women like that is this world. And it makes women like those that give us a bad name. We try to do right and be as honest as possible and it turns around and bites us in the :mad2: . Go with what Swany said and keep everything documented for you do have a very strong case as it sounds. Most women in the work place feel threatened by someone who does her work and they are slackers.  And the best we can do is cover our own :spam: . I have worked with women like that and that is why i would prefer to work with people who know how to handle work. I had worked in a Vet's office(vet tech professional is what i am) and the girl was taking all the credit for what i had done. Blood work,ua's,dental, and all the other stuff which goes with that. You know what i mean watermelon. All the medical stuff that goes with patients animals or human. Kharma is a very tough thing to not handle. What comes around Goes around. So just be careful and keep us posted. Would like to hear more. We all have 2 choices in life and the ones that pick the bad choices always think it is the right one. WRONG. Just tread carefully. Sounds like a major click.

First of all, you need to ask yourself if what people are saying about you is true. If it can appear to be true to a number of people, then they will have legitimacy in firing you and you won't be able to do anything about it. So, if anything they say is even remotely true, or can be PERCEIVED as true, make sure you seriously clean up your act or you will have nothing in court.

Trust me on this, document everything with dates and times, list every detail you can remember. Also, start documenting any 'mistakes' or 'screw ups' that anyone else has made. This can back you up if you get fired. People need to be treated equally in a job and if you get fired for something that someone else didn't, then you have grounds for a lawsuit. If you do get fired you may have a harrassment and inequality suit on your hands if you are able to back it up with documented evidence. Trust me, they're documenting everything on YOU.

Furthermore, you need to ask yourself if this is the kind of institution you want to stay at. I know I wouldn't want to work there. My advice to you is to get your resume together and start searching for another job. Life is too short to be miserable for 12 hours a day (nurse's hours, right?). Yeah, that's half your life right there.

Good luck.

exactly

That is exactly what to do what KJR928 said. Keep a close eye out and the best of luck. :dance2:

But the thing about it, I encountered backstabbers in every place I worked..The last place was more lethal because I got fired..This place is better than the last..You know I think there are backstabbers in every workplace, more so in female dominated fields...
