Agreed, I like having smaller fish because it allows for larger groups which is going to increase activity.
oh wow cyrtocara moori and yellow labs are really pretty, they are cichlids right? My busiest tank is my hap tank.cyrtocara moori.combine a group of 5-6 of those with 6-8 yellow labs and youll have a very busy tank.
I really dont want to sound mean or anything but you should really sit down at the computer and do some quality research on the species that you would like to keep. Get a good game plan together before you post up here. I have answered in several of your threads involving stocking of your tanks. If you are new to the fish world, it can be overwhelming to get a million answers from us that are more experienced. I would go to your LFS and write down the species that you find interesting and then go home and look at species profiles so you are a little more informed than just taking someones word for it. Just a week ago, you were looking to stock the 75 with convicts and now you have completely changed. Find something that you want and then post here to finalize your decision and get extra thoughts.
^^ its fine, I know I do that sometimes, just back and forth between things, I really liked the Convicts I'm just use to the aggression that they show. Also, when I ask questions here, I'm mostly just looking for input or extra thoughts like you said, I already have several tabs open on different kinds of tetra and almost all of the fish on my little list. Lol I know it looks like I'm just asking for answers but I usually pick several ways to do something and then research them to death before I pick one.
I'm sorry if that didn't make any sense and if I worried you, I like to ask a lot of questions that my lfs around here just don't know the answer to. Like how active are the cory or match making for the community tanks. I had one lfs tell me that it was perfectly fine to put just about any in with my Convict.
Ok I didn't understand the situation fully either. My bad:wall:
If you are going to do a very active setup, I would steer you away from keeping con's in the tank. They are very aggressive and would not do so well with the other smaller fish in the tank.
If you want to keep the con's in the tank, you are going to have to go with a smaller community of larger fish and just stock one male in there to keep the aggression down.
