Would be a great answer if there weren't farm raised, micro-chipped stock available. By relegating this fish to black market status despite the availability of legal stock, they actually encourage wild poaching because there is no incentive to follow the proper pathways if the fish will be deemed illegal regardless.

Emailed my local rep. He said that if he get a chance to vote on this bill he would keep my comments, and thought in his mind. I would suggest writing them as well.

This may not effect your personally but I have friend's who would loose their lively hoods if this went through. Right now the MA and PA stores are having a rough enough time, so should we just put the final nail in the coffin?

I'm sorry but I care more about the animals. I can't help it if that's the way that I feel.

And about what you said, I agree. There's too many factors to this thing. Fish were saved and others were over harvested and lost. So I haven't signed anything because I'm undecided. I'll just watch and see where it goes.

My local congressman (Rep Bob Inglis R-SC) is holding a town hall meeting this Monday, I'm going to point this bill out to him and ask him to vote against it. Again this is not a federal issue, this is a state issue.
