idk what happened, but after 2 weeks of running fine, it just decides to have a leak from 2 places! wtf??? since i got the tank off of craigslist i can't return it or anything so i have to fix it myself. my fish are currently in a 29gal and the 75 is draining. =[ how do i fix the leaks? like what kind of product should i use as a patch?

oh man I am so sorry :( that stinks !! I am surte someone can help you . I had a horrible dream a few nights ago both my tanks sprang leads

If it's just the seams leaking, you can strip out all the old silicone and reseal it. If the glass is cracked, you'll have to replace that pane.

is the tank level?
also remember that where it appears to be leaking might not be the actual exact location of the leak which may be higher, but gravity may make it appear otherwise near the bottom.
If its used chances are your sealant might be going. Resealing is easy, remove the old stuff with a razorblade, clean area throughly and apply new sealent, such as ge silicone I WITH OUT the bioseal (toxic to fish)

it is the silicone that is going. i was able to actually see the water rising up from the black guard around the glass, but i saw it rising from the left corner, but greater water was coming from the right corner. where do i get silicone? plus it is such a hastle to take out my substrate (which is sand), so is it possible to just move it away from the areas that need to be replaced? and like should i replace ALL four corners just to be safe?

search resealing tanks - you will get all the info you need - yes take out all sand and clean tank, and replace all silicone - good luck bud

search on this site? alright. thanks.
