Your gravel could have been packaged with killifish eggs somehow...maybe something in the aquarium told them it was time to hatch.

Well, I guess the only way to know for sure is to kep the fish and feed him/her until it grows to an adult. Then we can see where it came from. :grinyes:

killie fish eggs have to dry out to hatch the next year so they could have been in the wood or gravel and rehydrated and hatched.. there you go..
