It looks like it is going to stay away, but my gut instinct says that it is not going to.
I am right by where Que lives, shouldn't be too bad if it comes this way....but it will still be interesting

Depends on where in the state you are...down by the coast some flooding and wind etc is pretty inevitable, but I'm ~1hr inland, so unless the storm takes a pretty extreme NNW path, we should escape the worst of it.

I am in the middle of the state...not sure how far inland that is as far as time goes as I don't travel to the shore much (it has been years since I have seen the ocean...lol). I just have a really bad feeling for some reason and I can't shake it.

Just got back in from Carolina Beach NC... The waves are AMAZING. I've never seen anything like it in my life. Windy as all heck, and it's not even really close yet...

Just got back in from Carolina Beach NC... The waves are AMAZING. I've never seen anything like it in my life. Windy as all heck, and it's not even really close yet...

I practically grew up going to that beach...and Wrightsville.

Nice. I'm about 5 mins west of Wrightsville, and 15 mins north of Carolina. Too many college kids acting like fools on Wrightsville these days, so I'll take the extra drive. Probably going to head back down there tonight after I'm done with work as long as the bridge hasn't been closed for wind.
