This prevented about 18 or so leaks that would have brought down huge chunks of ceiling... The garage didn't do so well and lots of the ceiling came down. That drywall stuff is so delicate when it gets wet!
We did fine, considering this is the 3rd hurricane to hit us. No power outage this time. Picking up shingles from the yard is getting real old now... A nieghbor had one of those portable basketball hoops things wrap around his car. Whoever left the hoop out was real "bright".......
Kinda interesting to see all the blue roofs around the area, some are even green - WalMart had green tarps.. Looked like a lot less tree damage. The fist 2 did a number on pine and oak trees here.
