I am Back. . . . .

Welcome back, Jeff! So sorry you've had such a rough go of it. Take care of yourself and be careful to not overdo. Stay strong.

Hey Jeff..I dont get on much anymore. Not much time between work, college, wife, kid, house, you know the drill. Im glad your back to posting, shoot me a pm with an update.

Glad to see you back!

Thank you to everyone!!! I missed this place and the people on board. It has become my second home as well as a great diversion from the boredom of being housebound.

Great news today! = The home physical therapist is ready to discharge me to "outpatient status". The health aid nurse also has stated confidence in my ability to care for my wounds without their supervision. Guess I about have things under control! This means I will be released from "Housebound status" for the first time in 4 years or more.

Woo-hoo Party On!!! The nurses, family, and friends have all stated that the change is phenomenal! They have stated that they see a physically completely different person then they had known. I may need these crutches for the rest of my life but it doesn't change all that has improved. They feel that with time it is possible that legs might regain enough to take me up to 75-90% of what they once were. I will never regain 100% of what I had been and I accept that. There are deficits that simply will not be overcome. Now maybe one day I will actually return to the workforce; who knows?

Again, Many thanks!

Another dude has what i said as their quote lmao

That's wonderful news! It sounds like it'll be a great christmas in your household!!!

Keep looking at the glass half full and you can't go wrong. Great to hear that things turned out for the best!

I think you should treat yourself to a tank! :D or 3....

i am so happy to hear that jeff! Congratulations! What a wonderful "gift" for you and your family this holiday season. All your hard work and determination has really paid off! Keep up the great work.
