that would be your max on fish, but you could get snails, shrimps, ADFs, ect.
 
It might be cool to have my gourami, a ram, and some shrimps. :) What's an ADF? Sorry, I'm not really up to speed on the abbreviations.

No idea, I haven't even thought about that. I'm still deciding whether I should order all my specimens online or go to my LFS. I don't think my LFS has Blue Rams in stock, so I may just order them online.

i'd wait till your LFS gets some. you can see the stock beforehand, and it is WAAAAAAY cheaper.
 
what about congo tetras they are a nice fish
