SHE is putting them in a 5 gallon... ^.^;; And I've come to the conclusion that otos aren't the way to go. Thank you for taking the time to PM me and give me some good straight information based on your own experiences, Musho.
Anywho, It has been decided!!
*** His name will be Damien!! ***
As for the whole 3-weeks thing... part of that is my fault. I was a week late in payment to begin with. Between my lack of internet access (only at work right now), issues with my bank, and my friend splitting their foot open on my
deadline night and having to be rushed to the ER, I thought for certain I'd lose my betta!!!!
But the seller was VERY forgiving of me and held the fish until I was able to get my Paypal working properly (I had problems with setting up Direct Deposit on this account as well. It's been a nightmare!) And I used my injured friend's laptop to send the payment again while his foot was being irrigated and sutured.
Anywho, so I get him paid for on the 18th of April. He was set to ship on the 22nd. But he didn't end up in that shipment. I wasn't the only one with this complaint, but it turned out the seller was hospitolized for 3 days, hence the delay. He apologized profusely and assured me my betta will be sent in the next shipment.
This is fine with me. He was patient with me, so I can be patient with him. Besides, this gives me time to get the plants arranged just right before he comes home. ^___^
So no. Normally it wouldn't take this long.
