I can't contain my excitement!!!

I have a betta an a golden mystery snail and the very first day I put them in the tank together, I thought my betta at my snail's antennae, but I guess the snail is capable of retracting just one antennae? Becuase I guess he pulled it in quick enough before my betta could get a bite, because he still has two, even looking antennaes.

I'll keep a very close eye on my snails. I have two other tanks I can remove them to if Damien decides to be a devious little boy. ;)

So yeah, the first set of plants and my snails should be in no later than this Thursday. The betta arrives with the trashipper next Monday, so he will hopefully be here before next Thursday and I think my second shipment of plants will arrive at the same time.

So everything's going along 'swimmingly'!! :dive2:

Ok, so I'm looking at the site where you got your fish. How do they ship a betta?

First, they send it in a bulk shipment to their transhipper at specific times each month. It then goes across seats and usually arrives in the states in 1-2 days.

Once the betta arrives there, it gets fed and has a nice gentle water change (Linda said she's been doing this for years, so she acclimates them gently to avoid stress) and then they are packaged in individual packages and shipped to your door with heat packs and all the usual accoutrement.

When all runs smoothly, the whole process usually takes 7-10 days, I think. Sometimes less.

we are all waiting in anticipation.

I know that there have been tons of posts that already said this but
