I can't contain my excitement!!!

boiling the coconut shell helps remove the tannins, if you like tannins or rely on your chemical filtration to remove the tannins, then no you dont need to boil, just rinse with very hot water/bake/or of course boil once or twice. Ive had my coconut in my tank for 2 months and no problems have arroused so i guess its safe :)

Did your fish come yet? Is that really a betta the body looks a to rounded for a betta. Better make sure.
Looks more like a veiltail goldfish, similar to the Black Mor, just redish/orange and blue/white vail fins.

Regardless he is beautiful but Dont leave us hangin Let us know. Is he here yet?
