I did it! I bought plants, now what?

dang, I think I may stick to plastic after all, so much easier!:nilly::nilly::duh::duh::y220e::y220e::nilly::nilly::thud::thud::rofl::rofl::laugh::huh::huh:

:) Plastic is not natural lol. Well, I guess if you want to stick with a regular tank, you should try the silk plants, a lot more natural-looking than plastic and it's not rough

Take back the Purple waffle and try to get a refund. (If you like the plant you can just stick it in a pot on a windowsill lol). Let the anarchis float on the surface and see how it does for a week or two, and then consider getting some more low light plants. If you like those vibrant "purple" colors, there's several different crypts you could get.

pull out the purple waffle and put it in a pot by the window! the difference in appearance is likely due to the fact that it has been submerged for a while.

ok, I'm not trippin on taking it back, 1.50 is not a big deal, I spend more on gas getting there. Window plant, yep, that's how its gonna be, I feel s.t.u.p.i.d

Nah, it's those stores who keep selling us non-aquatic houseplants who are at fault for doing this. I suspect they do this so all our plants will die and we'll come back to buy their high-priced plastic ones, instead.

no worries breezy, you should have told me before you went out and got plants Id send you some of my clippings. Go to the classifieds and look for some nice mosses or ask Kashta, lol. I would suggest starting with some java fern, java moss, and some cryptocorne, which is quite beautiful. Someone will send you some for really cheap or free and you would just pay shipping.

Trust me if you start liking low light, you will end up going high tech in one of those 55's eventually. It happened to me.

;) That sound pretty good, I'm gonna go look, about how much do you charge?
