I love thier faces...they remind of a seal. I have a banded one that lives in a piece of driftwood in my 29 tank. At feeding time he peeks out, sniffing around for crumbs. I've been targeting some food on the log for him since the tetras are pretty quick to snap up what I put in there, not much reaches the bottom.
One thing I've noticed with the black kuhlii that I have in a tank with some panda cories. He's very quick...alot faster at finding and eating the food than the cories. He zips around the tank and will take it right out of the cories mouths. I sometimes worry about them getting enough to eat with him in there, but so far their looking good.
