I Got The Big New Tank!

Yes, thank you, I am aware it will be heavy;)

And no, it is sitting on my second floor appartment with steel and concrete reinforced floors.

Nice web site, btw Leopardess. I am going to try out your suggestions for photography to see if I can improve my own photos. Believe me, there is plenty of room for improvement. ;) Awsome tanks too! The 55 gallon is a beauty.

Hey never noticed the photography section, thanks! Now I just need the camera

Sounds like an excellent fish plan. Looking forward to seeing it filled. So are you transferring the 55 into this tank and tearing it down? Or are you planning on running both tanks still?

that great anxious feeling with an unsettled tank, i know that feeling. good luck and have fun with it; let us know how it turns out. i've just recently pulled out a new 75g out of storage and am planning on what to do with it. only thing holding me up is the darn stand--not easy to find one... well, economically, which has a 24" width.

Thank you Pl*co:)

Captain - I'll still be running the 55g. This tank isn't replacing anything...hehe. Just a "little addition.":D

Yes, half the fun is in setting the tank up and deciding what will go in it. I don't think I have the will power to let a 90g sit in storage:p Good luck finding a stand.

Right now, our big debate, is whether to go with all panda cories, all emerald "cories," or a mix of half and half...so many possibilities!

You got a great deal!! I paid just over $1000.00 in June for a 120 gallon,(no canopy)stand and just the basics(gravel, heaters, cannister, airpump ect.)

Have a blast! The options are mind boggling. :D

Ok, it's been nearly a week. What's the status of the big new tank? We want pics throughout the entire project! yeah!
