I live in Normal, Il in the house my parents bought when we moved here in '68. (We bought it from them)
Married 23 years to a girl I met at church camp.
three kids; 19yr and 16yr girls and 10yr boy
I like baseball (Cardinals) and cooking. And beer.
I'm 35 and have two children that came with my wife when we married.
Wife is a little older than me, the kids are 20 and 21. and I have a Son in law , and a 10 month old granddaughter :dance: I have a gradnson Due in April.
I travel out of state about 45 weeks each year. I train mechanics and operators on specialized mining equipment. I'm the problem solver/ teacher that gets to rectify anything that no one else can fix.
I am also a scoutmaster, and help with other youth programs.
Essentially I enjoy anything I can do to teach others and learn in the process.
I'm 46 years old...married for 24 years to the same guy!
We have 2 daughters, 23 and 19, and 2 boxer dogs, ages 9 and 2.
We live in Peoria, IL, in a subdivision that was hubby's grandma's family's cow pasture.
I'm a nurse, I work in home health doing auditing and ICD-9 coding of charts, and insurance follow up on pts..and taking phone calls that come in from pts and MD offices. All kinds of stuff.
I like to sew...play with my dogs...read. When the kids were in school hubby and I were active in the band boosters and other activities at school. Still trying to fill the gap since our youngest graduated last year. That's one reason I started my fish tanks up again.
I'm 18 years old and I live in Orlando, Florida. I'm currently in desperate need of a girlfriend :thud: . I like rock and metal music, and I'm currently in community college doing my pre-reqs for my Mechanical Engineering pre-major, then I'll be transfering to University of Central Florida. I recently quit my crappy job only to get my same job back because they offered me more cash. I'm pretty much broke at the moment :sad:
let's see... I'm 19, living with my dad in Illinois and going to school... living with my mom in Mississippi the rest of the time. We have had aquariums in our family since before I was conceived. Currently I have a 10 gallon in my room, one downstairs, two 2.5G betta condos in the kitchen, and a 75G (present from my dad) fishless cycling in the living room. I've attended both Southeast Missouri State Univ. and Southeastern IL College; I'm majoring in communication disorders. I have a miniature schnauzer who is 11, a harlequin dane who is 4 and a red albino corn snake too. I'm Amy. I'm 31 and proud of it! I live in the Denver metro area, married 6.5 years (together for 10+ years) with 2 daughters who are 5 and 2. I'm a stay home mommy who also watches our 3 year old Godson 5 days a week and a friend's two kids, ages 5 and 3 two days a week. My house is usually extremely loud, chaotic and toy strewn!!
Hubby is a software engineer who indulges my little, uh, fish problem because I'm a great cook, do the laundry, clean the potties and I have a mild fetish for starching and ironing his work shirts which saves loads on the dry cleaning bill!
I'm 34, Live in south Seattle, Washington a place called Burien.. right off the airport ... Been here for almost 9 years now longest in one spot without moving on.. awaiting Kidney and a Pancreas transplant... now it's going on year number 6 as I wait, so the Aquarium is the hobby to kill the time. Have a 6 year old son that lives in St. Louis.. and have a Cat with human like attitude which atm, takes place of a child since I cannot travel.
Hmms, what else? .. I spend majority of time learning things without realizing it .. Live on my Discovery and History channel and like to search obscure facts on things. I love Aquaria and the water.. Antiques and ancient culture study.. way too many things interest me to list.
