I need an all-in-one fertilizer. Ideas please.

CMS just has a little bit of Mg in it.

I still add MgSO4(epsom salt) to my trace mix (CMS+B) and make a solution(generally about 4 tablespoons for a couple of liters and 2 tablespoons of MgSO4). I also add some DTPA iron with 1 Table spoon as well.
This can bought many places as well.

I dose dry KNo3 and KH2PO4 and Gh booster(2:1:1=> K2SO4:CaSO4:MgSO4).

Teaspoons are easier than liquids as a rule, less space and less mess.
With traces or with nano tanks, you might wish to be a bit more precise.........so some use liquids.
No one has toasted their tank doing it either way, so there is a lot ot leeway here for over/under doing it.

Be much more careful with CO2 or Excel dosing however.

Macro Micro Nutrient Mix is composed of equal parts of potassium nitrate, potassium sulfate, Plantex CSM + Boron, and magnesium sulfate.

so for example... 1 pound potassium nitrate 1 pound potassium sulfate 1 pound Plantex CSM + B 1 pound magnesium sulfate to make the same mix. see they add csm+b and mg. i try not to mess with the formula of something thats been used so long by so many.

This time, since I'm a newb to this and don't have a lot of money to spend, I'll buy the Green Package and eventually might end up mixing my own when I know what I'm doing to save money, if the finished product will be cheaper than buying a ready made mix. I have some individual nutrients around for non-aquatic plants (calcium, b vitamins, chelated iron, epsom salt) but yeah, I don't want to start making my own ferts until I know what I'm doing. I don't want to end up killing my fishes and shrimps.

thats why you should follow the pmdd. use your epsom salt and mix it up.

I don't get what you mean. What's the reason why I should follow the pmdd and use my epsom salt?

I prefer to buy the Green Package because it is a set and contains everything that I need rather than go shopping around for each nutrient individually.

your the one who wanted a all in one fert. other option is to do something like EI and add each fert on its own.

I don't think you understood what I was asking. I was asking "What's the reason why I should follow the pmdd and use my epsom salt?" when I can just buy the green package which already has it and everything else needed as well? The whole point of this thread was to find a product that already has everything so I don't have to buy individual nutrients. Plus, if I bought my own nutrients, I have no idea how much to add of each and don't feel like doing the research to find out when I can buy a product that has already done it for me.

Oh, really?

http://www.aquariacentral.com/forums/search.php?searchid=416238 (Even MORE helpful.)

Oh, wait. I was mistaken. The results didn't help. None of the search results besides my own thread answered the question of what is an all-in-one fertilizer.
