I need help shipping something (not fish)

I'm probably repeating something that has already been posted, but I'm to lazy tonight to read the entire thread. So for that, I apologize.

No one in Nigeria bought anything from you. It is the scam capital of the world. Avoid this deal like the plague. You will get screwed. (can i say that?:lipssealedsmilie:) No ifs, ands, or butts about it.
 
my brother shipped his to UK a while back, no problems. i had a teacher from nigeria once, mr okeffer. his accent was funny, and so was the way he said peanuts. it was his favorite food so he said it often :grinyes:. nothing to do with the subject, but whatever
 
It's a scam. Good thing you asked/posted. Report the user to craigslist.
 
wooooooooooooo really do not ship to nigeria!!! these are scams... they send you the money.. you send the item and you are left holding the bad check........ really I get them all the time when I do craigslist. there always trying to scam me. they will send a check, add it to my paypal or my bank account. yeah right....... seriously dude tell him to,cancel that paypal and run!!
 
I wonder what happens with the people from Nigeria who actually and honestly want to buy something. In any case, do not send it there, 150 dollars just to ship a PSP overseas makes me be even more suspicious.
 
The money is never even paid into the paypal account, You may get an email saying it has been, but they say no payment without shipping number... by which point its too late and on the way to them... I had an email aparently from paypal saying money had been transfered, paypal account showed nothing, i reported the email to the spoof department and they said it was a fake.

And as i have seen mentioned, they do have a tendency to bid an item well over the actual cost to buy the items from a retailer. This is because a retailer will ship nothing b4 payment. And that some people are gulliable enough to do it.

Good thing you asked tho, b4 you shipped the item :)
 
yeah it's definitely a scam. i got 2 more emails for the psp one telling me to ship it to china and another offering to send a check.

LOL omg Mad, that is too funny. This board is cracking me up today....

now, with this obviously being a scam... it forces me to wonder... are their electronics and stuff like that the same over in Nigeria as they are in the states? I know some countries differ....
 
i use ebay often, and when selling i make sure that i mark no shipping outside of USA
so state that in you adds..

and if you want to proceed with out of country, then make them send you funds thru the us mail then the fed get involved and they can persue the matter outside of the us,.. other than that there is no way to catch these guys or get your good or cash back..
seen that on dateline a while back that this is the only way to cover your a**
