Any advice would be awesome:

For the past 4 years my shoulder has gotten progressively worse and worse. It started off with a VERY LOUD cracking and poping noise when I would rotate my right shoulder, and was like this for 2-3 years.

Around january-february of last year I started working out with free weights for the first time, along with playing intense basketball (2-3 hours) daily. I soon started to feel pain in my shoulder from things like throwing a baseball. Soon it started to hurt to shoot a basketball, and then it hurt to lift weights.

By June-July I had completely stopped both activities, and started to feel everyday pain (just walking around and it hurt) As I started to lift weights and play football again it became increasingly more and more painful, untill around March when it hurt for the majority of the day. I now feel intense pain for days after running, and it tends to appear randomly throughout the day (during class, walking to and from class, sitting at home typing this)

I don't know what to do anymore, I've been to an ortho and he sent me to a Pysical Therapist. The PT did nothing, and cost tons of money. Both said it was something to do with a stablizer or something in my rotator cuff.

What is my problem? What should I do to make it better? I need to find away to make the pain go away, as I'm sick of hurting all day.

If it helps I pitched a lot when I was younger, and walk a mile a day (sometimes 2-5) with a 20lbs backpack on. I also walk funny because of my messed up right foot, which puts more pressure on my right side of my body.

Gee, I wish I could help.
Maybe someone on here who lives close to you could recommend a good physical therapist.
Sounds like it may be a matter of really educating yourself about the problem and following some regime of exercises to stabilise and rehabilitate the joint, so you can eventually get back into the sport safely.
I've been told a good therapist should give you exercises to work on by yourself, and you shouldn't have to keep going indefinitely.
You still might need to spend some more money in the sort term though.

I live on Ibuprofen for my injuries. Anti-inflamatory. A different physical therapist might work wonders as they are all different. Good luck!

See a doctor. Physicla Therepy can take a long time as well, results are not immediate. If you don't like the one you have get another.

I saw two doctors, an ortho and then the PT. I haven't taken anything for it before, so I'll start looking into the stuff you guys reccomended. Thanks!

:thm: I would talk with someone in a Health Food Store about natural means to decrease inflammation on joints.
I was told that the herb "Turmeric" helps with inflammation. Please go and ask them.

Hope you feel better soon.
