I need some help please!

Roan,

there in lies the heart of the issue.

to some they are replaceable..somehow ..some people see the fish as easily replaceable..I see this attitude all the time in the LFS particularly the large chain stores.

it's odd that some of us go to extreme lengths to save our fish when they become ill...

I spent $30 for a parasite med to treat my angel fish..and even more on meds that didn't quite get the job done.

I have a tank in my living room with discus and angels..guess who gets excited when I come into the room?? you got it..these fish recognise me..yeah sure it's a learned response..but still they do this when I come into the room..for others..they just watch them.

so I guess the fish have a personality..traits..a bit of individualness.

one reason I love raising cichlids..the parents take care of the babies..until I started breeding cichlids..I never knew this..
but watching my bolivian rams..has really change the way i see how fish are parents..in some cases better than some humans

Just from now on, can you PLEASE make that more obvious and stand out in your posts. Too many noobs on this site who don't know enough to research thier info further.

If Gary is dead you will notice a rather nasty smell coming from him. It is very distinct.
She was already given the info to find out if her snail is dead, but she has not posted on if it is or not.

i agree that that was not a very good statement to make... any of them.
