as long as they are bigger than their mouth, other wise they will be a snack. very social too, he's always coming up to my hands when I'm in the tank.

With what? The dino-eel? I think those are preditory, will eat anything small enough to fit in thier mouth. The ABF is also preditory, but is quite small. Guppies and neons will be a quick snack, but larger peaceful fish will be ok.

How about this? If you want something predatory and agressive. Try the pike livebearer aka Belenesox belizanus. These are the monsters of the Live Bearer world. The female gets up to 9 inches and the male 7. They are pretty mean and prefer live foods. Just look at the teeth in the close up.
The Senegal Bichir (Dino Eel) can be kept w/ pretty much anything that won't fit in its mouth and won't disturb it.

Yes, they will. In fact, you could probably get several of each. Here is a setup Spartan reccomended to me:
2 Dinosaur Eels (polypterus senegalus)
1 african knife (Xenomistus nigri)
2 or 3 African butterfly fish
