I'd vote for the zebra dart fish - really pretty and different looking. Someone said you can't, but I thought you could keep fire fish in groups. The purple ones are SOOOO pretty, if you could have two together, I'd probably get that one. I lost my fire fish inexplicably recently and definitely will replace him with a purple one someday.

naw, a long time ago Bane learned the wonders of "The Grey Stick"

his current diet is aimed at keeping him docile.

and i am only adding A SECOND FISH after 18 MONTHS of the firefish's happiness.

Have you thought about an Assessor? I know the link says Min 30 gal but everywhere I've read states 20 gal and only grows 2.3 inches. They're peaceful and colourful.
