I have heard of a "Natural" treatment called PARAZORYNE. Supposedly chemical free. Has anyone ever used this?

I just recommend just plain heat 88-90 degress for a week or more..So far it worked for me but some fishes died from the intense heat..But this is a far better method in my opinion..I just got my clown loaches cured from Ick by just using heat..And everyone knows that clowns are sensative to anything in the water..

Also, yes you might have cold spots in the tank, but they will go thru areas where it is above what they can tolerate..

let me suggest that if some fishes died from the 'intense heat', then the 'treatment' was anything but successful.

a treatment method that works is one that cures the ich without killing fish.

If your tank has that huge of temperature differences, from okay to dangerous areas, it would seem you need some better circulation.

I know that I have been here just for a year, BUT I have been keeping fishes for 11 years..Salt will kill my clown loaches than heat...Yea, if you think you are doing the right thing so be it...I tried the med or salt method before these past 11 years..My attitude or view is not going to change whatever you say..Yea, my pocket book/ money is more important than someone's view..I have my own interest in mind in saving my fishes which cost money...

The best treatment for Ich, is nothing...Yea, I might lose a fish here or there but with salt, meds or anything else, you cannot gurantee that they will ALL survive an Ich outbreak! The things that suprises me is that the article states that to raise the temp to 86 or so and how would 2 to 4 degress more make such a difference in how a fish survives or not!Hello???

And how about me telling you this, you are right and I am wrong...Do you like that answer better? I think you would..But the bottom line if you think you are right and I am wrong, then so be it I still stand by my method...Use whatever you want like and you telling me that I am wrong is not going to change anything from what I feel!!

You don't want to use salt as it will kill your fish? But yet you state that the heat alone will lead to a few losses? Sure you can have your snippy attitude but at least back it up with results.

Yea, clown loaches are very sensative to salt or meds when they have Ich...Better use heat for them..Also, I got this method from using heat from a very rich fish keeper..He buys very rare exotic fish that cost maybe hundreads of dollars for one..His collection is supreme..

Yea, to tell you the truth, I thought he was an idiot also..But yea, try it sometime and see the results..Then you can base your opinion on what experienced..

So in the past 7 months, my fishes came down with Ich maybe 6-7 times..I did not use meds or salt..Fishes are living...That is the results...I put up the heat to 88-90 for about 10-14 days....
