i researched the I. sprengerae juvie and i guess it could be a juvie sorry about that just first look it really looks like a female P. Saulosi, hmm take care buddy.
poss could be a hybrid man with the diverse amount of cichlids these days you never know what your getting example would be the yellow labs alot of them look so washed out now a days its to funny on what species your getting from pet shops but as the decades keep growing we keep seeing mutt fish more and more each day..
Looks like a hybrid to me, face looks like a metriaclima type (in my opinion too yellow and too many stripes for a saulosi), could be a lab x zebra hybrid, but I'm not a 100% sure on this one.
As I have a group of yellow labs and this guy is beginning to show his dominance, would you leave him in the tank with my actual setup?
If you plan on breeding your fish and selling the fry I wouldn't keep a male of unknown to you specie to avoid any hybrids.
