If AC Goes Down Again . . .

Great Idea!

When I read the title, I thought you were spamming for the rainbow site, but I knew you wouldn't do that...

I think this should be stickied.

I still can't get in, Page is not responding
Miax is still working on the machine.

I will let you guys know the MINUTE it is up. Promise! I'll also have rainbowfishes.com redirect to bowheads.org when I get *that* set up.

Good news! Miax, Kris, found an "old" motherboard that works with SUSE and he's almost finished installing it. It's not going to be as fast as it could be -- I doubt many will even notice speed since we have a large bandwidth -- and we'll be upgrading the motherboard once he gets back from his travels this week.

So, I will post the minute it's back up again.

No, I would never do that. Wouldn't make sense, anyhow. It's not a general aquaria site like AC is. In fact, I intend to link a lot of questions and pages back to AC.

Eventually I will cover topics that AC does, but that's FAR down the road from here.

I think this should be stickied.
Well, I'm not going to argue much with that idea ;)

My only intention is to have a place for everyone to touch base when our "lifeline" is missing.

Another sticky? Almost the entire first page is stickies.
Definitely up to you, Slip, but I was thinking -- that breeders' sticky? Isn't that defunct now? Regardless of whether or not you make this a sticky, IMO that one should spiral out.

I think keeping a note in your siggy is a good place for the link rather than a sticky... to avoid that whole thing.... on the other hand, who would see the sticky if the site was down..... or the siggy.... just random babble :D

Why not Make a Hall of Frame thread with the links to the stickied threads and then un-stick them. That is the best that I've seen.
