Since my 2.5 gallon minibow has a gravel bottom, about 2 inches high, since it has an under gravel filter, how should I feed my frog? The pellets sink to the bottom, on the gravel. My frog can't find it. What should I do? And no, I'de rather not feed live or frozen food. I've done that and it's disguisting, messy, and takes time. What should I do?

Ok, thanks, but ADF talk please :)

Thanks for that info, but I need to know about my ADF :).

try small tongs or tweezers(plastic prefered) and put the pellets in front of you ADF,if he takes it good,if not,try again!

Good Idea!

Bettagurl, do you have or have you ever had any ADF's? If so, have they eaten pellets?

I have never owned them but id love to,I have gone to various sites, thats where i learned how to feed them.how is everybody(fish),$eaba$$??

the chances of an ADF eating pellets is pretty much nil. use live food or frozen, or don't get one. you could try it, but I doubt you'll suceed

live foods and frozen would be the healthiest choice and more likely that your ADF will eat them. ;)

Yeah haha, I know...

Yeah, I feed him live, or frozen, but it's just difficult haha. And it takes a lot of time too.... He loves live tubiflex worms lol.

I used to have 1 and it ate everything that it could find. If he can't find the pellets try what bettagurl said. Also, I don't know if it would help but maybe try soaking a pellet in tank water for a while to soften it for your ADF, then use tweezers. Sometimes they can be dificult to feed, so good luck!
