I'm back! With another halfmoon betta pair.

GORGEOUS!!! Very fine specimens and you really did well picking out fish with good color and conformation!! Maybe if I get my black orchid CT strain up and running next year we can swap a few babies and continue each other's lines? 
Oh and as for bigger bettas, it's been discovered that the royal blue color strain for some odd reason creates progressively larger offspring. This has led to the production of 'giant bettas' which are currently about twice the size as regular betta types. They are generally plakats, but long-finned versions are becoming more common.
It's early on in this strain's production, but I've seen giant bettas in royal, steele, turqouise (all related to the royal strain) true green and... hmmm... surprisingly enough, now that I'm researching this there seem to be many more colors and varieties now! How thrilling!! We'll see how this "giant betta" continues along in the industry.
They tend to have a hefty price tag on them as well. Most are internationally shipped and their price BEFORE shipping expenses is usually up in the $120+ range.
