Went and picked up the tank today.
Look how shiney it is
My wife an I also took a walk throught LFS and discussed the stocking.
Things we agree on.
Dwarf Flame gouramies - 4 or so
Rainbows - 10-20
German Rams -6 or so
BN plecos - 2 albino & 2 normal
Long finned Zebra Danio - 20
Pearl Danio's - 20
Neon's - 20
I'll post more picks as the build continues. The QT tanks are about ready to go.
Maybe I'll have some time on Monday to start cleaning out some play sand.

Sweet! Rather than German blue rams (which need warmer temps than most of the other fish) I'd probably go with Bolivian rams or kribensis, myself.

My German Blue Ram is doing fine in 75F temps right now due to lack of proper heater.
Well did a little bit of work on the tank. I've got 20 danios, 8 Roseline sharks, and 3 BN plecos in QT.
I ordered some crypts and swords that came in quickly. They are currently just stuck for a while until they grow in a little. I'll rearrange them later when they grow in a bit and the log sinks again. They are really starting to take off and go. I'll have to up my ferts for a bit to get them up to size.
I also made a few caves and such with some slate and silicone. Kind of funny looking but they seem to work in the tank.
I decided to rework my lights on the hood. I just had some shoplights attached earlier. I decided upgrade it to ten 23W CFL's. This should grow everything in there really well. I've currently got the lights on 24 hours a day. When I toss in the fish I'll cut the lighting back but I've got a few more weeks until that so I'm pushing them to grow.
Still need to get a black background for the tank and add in the gravel on top of the playsand. Maybe this next weekend, if I can avoid the business trip to Mexico this week.
