I'm sorry if I keep up about the same question. It just seems that I can't find much of an answer about: 1) If it can be deadly to any of my fish even if there is only one Elephant Nose. 2) If anyone here has ever drawn out their aqaurium in order to help plan. 3) Is an Axototl pretty much a "One specie a tank" kind of thing?
An Axototl is another one of those creatures that are going to eat anything big enough to fit in there mouths. I would have to say, based solely on research and opinion, that you are going to have some problems between your two bichirs and the Axototl. I would leave the Axototl to a species only tank, and even then, just it. From what I have read they play well with others of the same species.
I've been following your posts today with great interest. I to just purchased a Senegal Bichir and have found them to be a great addition to a tank. I have been trying my best to find good tank mates for him.
Have you figured out what you are going to keep with yours?
