You're right, Sheila, I should have made that distinction between danios & what I still think of as Galaxy rasboras (CPDs). I bet there will be some more "parsing" between those & "regular" danios sooner or later. They are, as you said, very shy but size & behavior appropriate to a 10g.

I have similar question. Mine is also a 10g planted tank (dense). I have 5 neon tetras which always remain on bottom and sometimes top. Can you suggest something to fill up top-middle regions. Like chili rasboras, celestial pearl danios, mountain cloud minnows or any other
