My 20g-long tank currently has this stock:

8 Harlequin Rasboras
6 Albino Cories
1 Oto

I'm looking to add one larger centerpiece fish to complete the tank. I've had bad luck with Gouramis and am looking for something a little bit different, perhaps an oddball, perhaps not.

Here's a pic of the tank so you can see the color palette that I'm working with:

The Albino Cories really pop against the dark substrate, and the Harlies add a lot of life to the middle of the tank. Still waiting for the background plants to fill out, and I've got more Anubias than I know what to do with!

So...opinions? Really, I'm just looking for some brainstorming so that I can research them and make an informed decision.

Thanks!

what is that black thing with the moss on it? looks good over-i love the rock formation and the levels you made on the right hand side

The black thing with the moss on it is just stacked slate that I constructed by breaking a larger piece and stacking them with some epoxy.

Really, the Oto is a leftover from a previous school. I don't think I'd want to add more Otos...

I'd go with a school of 20 Ember Tetra's!

They school AMAZINGLY, and are a beautiful orange color

They would POP with that substrate!
