In wall tank finished

I've been hinting at a kitchen / dining room re-model -- my husband has been less than excited at the idea. But when I showed him this he started to think how a large tank would be so nice as a divided between the kitchen / dr spaces....it could be like this...or like this....or like this....

I think I have a start on my kitchen project!
 
The tank looks great. I did notice in one of the pics that the light spills through the seam between the two doors above the tank. You might consider a small strip behind one of the doors to cover the seam. You'll have to always close that door first, of course, but it might be a nice detail to add some day.
