We left the light on 24/7 (i know, bad idea, alge was always a problem) and it acted as my night light. When i was scared at night i would look at my fish and everything seemed ok again because they didnt look scared. To this day, i still find watching my fish very relaxing. gotta go, in the middle of a water change. (love the python)
awww, that's so cute!katzee said:I was never allowed pets as a kid. So I had Sarah the invisible fish who lived in a small glass bubble bath bottle with a cork lid. Sarah finally moved into a 20g tank in my 20's, then was upgraded to a 40g hex in my 30's, and now am back down to a 20gal. Planning on giving Sarah a grand cathedrial for her big retirement party.:
