awesome. i have the scuds in a vase with green water and soime zucchini. will that be good for them? not sure what they eat and the water quality they need.

That'll be fine. Scuds will eat practically anything and are not picky about water quality.

You should also know they prefer cool, highly oxygenated water and are slow growers. However, if you plan to keep them in any tank below about 75 degrees, they should be happy. Just keep up the oxygen in the tank - they are lungless, gilled snails and require good oxygen in the water like fish.

I don't think they're very marketable at this point. Trapdoors have always been easily available, and have been auctioned to death on eBay as of late.

I see you caught some striped ones though. There could be a market for those.
