Is Java moss an easy plant?

Geez, I dunno, I'd say high light with low light plant (+ possibly higher/ other nutrient demands)=brown moss. You've seen what works... + what doesn't...go with what works for your tank;) . Lower PO4...so be it if that's the case unless your other plants are unhappy. Each tank can be different, so many variables...I understood alleopathy isn't an issue in most tanks...(I could be wrong though )

I think I forgot to mentioned my light - I have 2x40w T8 10,000 over my 75 which is a little bit over 1w/g. I am still don't know ir I should dose fert.

I also got green stuff growing on my rock pearling all the time. It looks nice on the rock. Should this be the case of Aleopathy from this kind of stuff?

I was really stupid to have 7 fat SAE in that tank. Here are a few pics after I emptied my tank to catch those guys. I am still having combating diatom - not sure why I still have diatom in such an established tank. Anyway thanks everyone.

I never check my tape water Fishorama since I don't have test kit. Got phosphates however I never dose any. Pellia is doing well though. I have different types of rocks in my tank - putting them in OK but removing them would be a big deal. First I was trying to have something like a valley. After I put all the big rocks in, I realized that it did not look the way I want.

java moss is about the easiest plant in the book. i have no idea what could be killing it, but awesome tank, ive recently gotten to love mosses, and have java and riccia, and will soon have peacock and flame.

Thanks everyone. Indeed my tank is a build-in over flow and I may need to add another powerhead. Mosses are OK now however I have no luck with Java fern so far - sit there a month or two with no progress. Heard people say if one can grow moss, he or she can also grow Java fern... but not me

I left a space behind hoping to build a moss wall.
