Is my Neon Prego???

cool congrats, I'm glad that she did lay her eggs, unlike the other negative people saying that they won't lay at all. Whether they're fertile or not is a differen't story. But I remeber my cherry barb eggs were really really small and slighty brown. But they hatched in 24-36 hrs, so if you don't see them tomorrow they probably hatched... and probably eaten. They'll do good in the java moss if they don't eaten. goodluck

oh well, I didnt know and next time i will seperate them ...i guess i left them in too long and they got hungry...or they dropped and are wiggling around somewhere.....more than likely thought i bet they are in some-fishies belly...

I was under the impression that neons are egg scatterers, so it seems unlikely to me that your heater would have neon eggs stuck to it.

funny u say Madcrawdad that becauce there is/was another fat one and there are eggs all over my tank....on rocks, glass, terracotta, and plants....this is awesome....lights off sorry no pics...

are you sure they're neon eggs? it's my understanding that neon eggs aren't 'sticky,' so while they may rest on plants, it seems odd that they'd be sticking to glass.

:iagree: neon eggs should not be sticky...

there almost like 10-20 in each sac...the sac is attached... well looks attached..,, egg inside sac....stock is 4 neons and 15-20 rcs....2 apple snails.. java moss butt-loads...and 2 tiny plant seen in pic..,10 gallon has diy HOB started from a Whisper 60
and 2 air-nuggets

snail eggs, still doesn't explain why the female is skinny though. Being that there is only 4 neons they shouldn't be able to eat all the eggs/fry. That's assuming she spawned. Which I think she did if she's skinny overnight. Chances are good if you have a big bunch of moss like you say. congrats on the snail eggs lol
