cam191919: it is "hen and chicks" idk if it is a type of cactus but is a very popular garden plant and multiplies rather quickly producing an extra 3-4 heads a year and yea i like how it came out i just cant w8 for the moss to fill in.

If you are looking for slates, did you try the gardening centers?

I woudl definitely check a landscaping/gardening center cam. I know several local nursuries/rockeries here sell slate..
