jabberjaw's 150gallon - from the get go

Thanks for the kind words!
And yes, although they may not be as spectacular as a lot of other marine fish, the chromis look amazing when they zoom around the tank together in a tight shoal with the light shining of them :)

Just received an order from one of my regular LFS (well technically not local, as they are interstate & courier the items to me :)). Ordered a piece of Favia, Finger coral and an orange spotted starfish. As a bonus the LFS threw in a large Blue Linckia Starfish at no additional cost!
I drip aclimated the stars for 2hrs and have put them into the tank, both seem happy enough.

Great to see the progress your tank has made! Be sure to put up more pics when their settled! It's a gorgeous set-up

Just a couple pics of the new starfish and my usually AWOL large crab..

Love that crab shot!!! Awesome!

a fine crab indeed:)

Cheers! Its amazing how unsociable a crab can be, but then when he does decide come out into the light, he just poses perfectly for the camera.
And thanks for the idea Greg, I was unsure about what to submit for the comp, but I reckon this little guy may just be a good one to use:)

That crab looks just as surprised to see you as you were to see him!

Great tank, very beautiful. I'm particularly impressed with the live rock you've got your hands on. I've never seen such interesting pieces over here.

Your livestock list is fantastic too.
