Jack dempseys bred (again)

Nice pictures. Nice female, and good job on rescuing the male (I did the same for one a while back and he looks just like yours, only slightly larger).

I'd be tempted to take a few fry off your hands, if I could figure out where halfway between Enumclaw and Seattle actually is. Ever get up to Renton? We could meet at Fish Gallery & Pets there. I have V. synspila to trade, if you have a spare tank and promise to take as good care of them as you have of your Dempseys.

I do know where the Fish Gallery and Pets is in Renton...The only spare tank I have is a 29gallon and it isn't set up currently. Some V. synspila would be neat though....

I could probably make it up there in the near future if you want a bag full of fry on the house. I can always use an excuse to vist more fish. :D

Unfortunately, my V. synspila are already in the 4-5" range, and wouldn't fit in a 29g. If you still want to meet at FG&P in Renton, however, I could do 9/23 or 9/30 (sorry, but my schedule is a little hectic) in the pm (afternoon preferably).

If that doesn't work, it's OK. Let me know.

Yeah, that's not gonna work. I start college again on the 22 so weekdays are pretty much cut out. I would like to grow them out a bit more before giving them away as well (gonna keep the best for me!). I'll PM you in a couple of weeks to set something up if you'd like.

I knew the V. synspila wouldn't fit...it was just a wish. I could probably get away with a female in the 100 gallon with the oscars for a while...Hmmm....decisions. I could always use another reason to get another tank (or three). :D
