Jpappy's CP setups

I was looking in Barry Rice's book. He suggests taking pings out of the trays for the winter to give them drier conditions. Didn't say much on the subject other than that. He did suggest this website though: http://pinguicula.org/

Don't know if you've seen it or not.

Yep, skimmed over that one a few times now.

Right now I'm letting the tray dry out before refilling and I guess a good method over the winter is to treat them more like houseplants. Not wet, but still kinda moist

Sounds that way to me... treat them like a drosera in the summer and a nep in the winter.

Congrats, dude! That's awesome! And to think, you were almost done...

Psh, whoever said that :lipssealedsmilie:

So here's what I'll be getting...

- U. sandersonii - white flower (online nursery)
- U. livida
- U. graminifolia
- U. nephrophylla (very vigorous clone)
- U. bisquamata 'Betty's Bay' (confirmed by flower - from BCP)
- U. pubescens - Serra Caraca, Minas Gerais, Brazil (from BCP)
- U. blanchetii - white flower, Chapada do Diamantina, Minas Gerais, Brazil
- U. tricolor
