RTR said:Most of my tanks are planted to heavily planted. Others are planted RFUG, so comparable to the regular planted tanks. Unplanted RFUG is trivial, you never get anything. Those neither planted nor RFUG have about 1/2" of substrate and take very short times to vacuum. The total tank footprints run about 75 square feet, so it has to be fairly efficient/low labor or it would be neglected.

Our tank doesn't seem very big to us anymore....it's nice when someone new comes over and we see it from a different perspective again.
My husband is already talking about building a bigger tank....8000 gallons has been mentioned.....
