Gahh! i am so addicted, I find myself looking at craigslist at tanks I have no floor to fit on (space or structrual) and thinking, well, the price isn't bad so maybe i could put it in storage somewhere til i move next.... then i start looking at property thinking well, maybe one extra move on my own won't hurt toooooooo bad so i could use said tank..... then i start looking at smaller tanks, and thinking gee, i can move SOMETHING to ugprade to a 55g for now, or three....... and Now i keep looking at discus and thinking well, thoughts i have no buisness thinking considering my tank limitations.

I can sympathize with you wolf13! In 4 months I have gone from 2, 2.5 gallon betta tanks to 14. I have just bought 2 more tanks from craigslist (20, 33) and am plotting a planted tank, and maybe small cichlid tank. I don't know what has come over me, but I sure do enjoy it!

Join the club! I started with one tank in January - the house now has a total of 8, plus a husband who threatens to go beserk if one more tank enters the house. I haven't told him about the small 2.5 that I won on ebay (but it is to be a QT tank - promise!)

Heh heh heh... join the club dude. I had and empty 20g, 5g snd 1g in the attic collecting dust. I bought a 46g bow in January. a few weeks ago I found a 10g and a 29g at the curb and bought a 55g off craigslist. The 46g and the 29g are filled with fish now and I'm eyeballing the 55g for my next project.

And I still cruise craigslist even though I really can't afford nor really use another tank.

And on rubbish days I look for tanks as I drive around.

PS: MTS hits many of us so be sure to donate to the MTS foundation chapter nearest you. All donations are tax deductable. Do it because you care.

I fear I am at high risk for MTS. There was one, then a QT, now a third one waiting to be filled. And I've been considering a barb tank and cichlid tank as well. I guess there is an up side to being broke...I won't be able to buy them any time soon!

Best of luck!

Argh! I HEAR ya! I've just got all the parts finally to put together my first tank. This hobby consumes me! I spend hours researching plants, fish, water chemistry....etc. I'm a planner....so I have my next few weeks (and last few weeks) mapped out! Week one...build the tank stand (picked up materials last weekend). Week two...finish scrubbing soaked driftwood and soak some more/add gravel and plants to tank....wait for cycle. Week three..go fishing (catch a largemouth bass, some snails, and a crawdad for tank)...then catch feeder fish, etc. That's just my next three weeks! I've got my eye on craigslist so I'll probably start building a bigger stand for week four!!!! Craziness.

Oh yeah, and every night I obsess on this dang site.

lol I hear ya, if I had a job and a house(im 15, still with my parents) I would have waaay over the 2 tanks that I have right now
