I got a 1 gal tank from Wal-mart to raise Brine shrimp, but i decided to make a nano reef instead. I knew the little light wouldnt work for my Reef so i built a kinda tank stand out of extra wood i had lying around. And i built a light hood out of thermal plastic gutter with ends. The lighting is 1 28 watt coralife 10000k compact(thats 28 watts per gallon lol). i plan on getting a 50/50 actinic/10000k light later when i get my Azoo palm filter(plan on filling it with more live rock frags) from Live Aquaria. I plan on painting the hood and stand black. Well anyway here are the pics of a started project that just has to be finished.

Hope you like it :D cause i think it looks good !!!

More of a challenge.... i'm am going to put a few Xenia and mushrooms in it. With a Cleaner shrimp.

Looks wonderful! I love nano tanks.

looks lovely! I was thinking of making a pico.

BTW, IMO cleaner shrimp would get too big, a porcilean crab or hermit is your best bet.

I don't like how that lights sitting there... looks too easy to knock off. Otherwise looking good.
I am going to attach it to the legs, so there is no worries of tippage lol :D
Yeah i gave it a second thought about the cleaner too. Yeah, a couple of electric hermits or something on those lines might work out better
