Hmmm, well stupid stuff always happens to me...I could probably fill this thread in a week!

Well, I lost my job if ya's didn't see that, they closed on us. We had a meeting on Monday last week, talking about that stupid commercial they wanted to do..and saying how we were all going to get raises and she wanted us all making 3 more dollars per hour by the end of next month. Then Tuesday night I got a call telling me not to come into work because they locked the doors up and were closing for the week, but to come in on Friday night. Then Thursday night got a call saying that they were not going to open back up and were looking for another building to open???? What stinks even worse is the fact that we were suppose to get paid today (they owe me for 2 weeks) well, of coarse I can't get a hold of anyone, and no body has called me back until tonight. Then I finally get a hold of her, and she said that the other partner drained their bank account and left town so she has no money to pay us until she can take him to court and get her money back:mad2::mad2::mad2:

So well that was how my week went. On a bright side, I did get my tank re-sealed and it isn't leaking! Found how I want to build the stand...but of coarse not getting paid kinda put a hold on buying the wood:headshake2:

Nothing exciting today, rented a few apartments, hung out with my son at home...
 
Lady G, sorry to hear your story. Good luck. Today is the first day of a two week vacation from work for me. I can't remember when I had two weeks off before. I usually take a week here and a week there. My youngest son graduates from high school Wednesday night. This past Sunday my ex-father-in-law died from a fall off a ladder to a cement garage floor. :eek: So Thursday morning my three kids are heading off to the wake and funeral and won't be back until Saturday. I am left in charge of my two year old grandchild, who turns two on Thursday. I think I am going to take her to the zoo and let her help me plant my tomato plants. Wow, don't I live an exciting life?
 
I just started summer classes online and I'm on here procrastinating instead of actually reading about geekonomics, eh, I mean economics. It's still cold as heck here in Michigan and I feel like summer is never going to get here!! :( Someone please send me some sunshine!
 
Well lets start off with In about 3-4 weeks im moving into my first house. YES!!!!! I feel like its a nice house in a very nice small local town. I got a great deal on it as well. paying 47,000 and the house appraised at 67,000. SWEET. Now the bad part is i have to move a 10, 30, 30 , and 90 gal tanks. Owell no big deal you gotta do what you gotta do. But here is the real bummer i have to be out at the end of this month only about a week away. my landlord its being a P.I.T.A. and wouldnt let me stay till i get the house. Also i have nowhere else to go so i will be living in hotel JEEP WRANGLER for about 1-2 weeks. but i have no one who will adopt my fish for a few weeks :cry::cry::cry:. I dont know what to do i dont want to see my little friends die because of my money hungry landlord. the guy im buying the house off of was going to let me stay there at the house im buying. YEA. but then my realtor agent butted into our convo and told him that its against PA law. DANG. yea thats right no person shall occupy the house they are about to buy without rental agreement issues that need to be cleared up first.... Basicly im now an owner of a house and not able to move in. i have now where i can go and now my fish are going to die because my landlord thinks they can get an extra 100 outta some other sucker for a garage converted to a house and a poor one at that. :angryfire::angryfire::angryfire:
 
This week i must fill my fridge with beer for the long weekend,Last week filled freezer with chicken wings and cleaned deep fryer. Extra toilet paper may be a must lol.....
 
I'm really happy that the warmer weather is finally coming. Here in Toronto it was hot, then a cold spell. The temp. was 12 yesterday but it's supposed to start warming up on Thursday........when I'm off. Should be 20/21. My plants will be happy too. I see the birds all coming to my feeders, and that's a great sight!
 
Ero...sorry to hear that, talk about a freak accident! I think taking your grand daughter to the zoo would be a nice thing to do, she will enjoy it sooo much!!

Cat...WOW, that really stinks...if I live near ya, I'd take your fishes for you:) I'm sure he did but did the Landlord give you the proper notice, or did he just spring it on you? There may be a way to get a little more time out of him.
