*GAH*...I'm actually nervous. I have this stupid interview in the morning...I haven't had an actually "interview" in a long while...the last two jobs I've had they called me and asked if I wanted to come work for them. It's just in a store, but they pay very well (for my area) and have benefits and everything. I no I will go nuts working there, but I need it.....I just haven't been to one of these for so long, what if they don't like me??? What if they think I can't lift things (there is "heavy lifting" involved it said), should I wear my hair up, or down...should I wear jeans or "pants" or should I just wear shorts or a skirt? Should I have dangley ear rings or hoops....should I wear "smell good" or not!!! What about lipstick...should I add color or just gloss???

AHHHHHHHHHHHHH, see I'm feeling really goofy about now, but OMG!!! Should I act really sweet, or should I be more firm like??? What if I talk to much, what if I get all shy like???

to answer the questions.. this is what Id do..
if there's heavy lifting involved, just wear regular jeans(unless it's really hot out) since that's prob what youll be wearing anyways... but still dress cute. hair up/down.. doesnt matter. if you have an interview with a guy, wear shorts if you have nice legs. a skirt seems too girly for a lifting job. umm, dangly earrings and def. smell good! but not like a perfume factory... anddd gloss, if anything.
act really sweet.. they usually like pleasant people. when they ask questions that seem serious to you, answer seriously. like important questions.. answer them like theyre important lol.
if you talk too much, theyll think you have a lot of energy. if you talk too little n seem nervous, they might think youre a pushover. either way, they like both.

is it a stocking n overstocking job in a retail place? i had a job like that at a craft store. i liked that a lot less than my job at a pizza place(which i didnt like) lol. its boring as hell, but when there was constantly stuff to do, i found the time passed kind of quick.......... kind of. quickER atleast
 
Thanks Easy!!! I don't know if it will be a guy or a girl. It is a grocer store...I would be stocking, doing check out, and that kind of stuff. Such a "off" job for me...but like I said, they pay better then pretty much everywhere else around here besides the factory's and you have to have at least a year experience there (I tried to get on believe me!) My biggest thing is they have benefits and pd holiday (closed on the holidays but you still get pay), paid vacations, sick days all that. So yeah, very worth it for me...but I know I'll go crazy, since I've always bartended and I'm very social and silly usually. I'll probably drive ppl crazy trying to talk to em. LMAO!!! Maybe I should wear a shirt with sleeves and I could "stuff" the biceps (LMAO!!!) J/k of coarse:)

So, I went to the interview, the lady wasn't there that I was suppose to talk to...they called her and she called back and I ended up talking to another lady. WOW, talk about "scatterbrained" LMAO...I kept thinking, hmmm I was worried for this. It was funny. Anyway, not sure yet if I got the job or not, but the women acted as if the other did plan on hiring me. So keep your fingers crossed for me!!
